Philippine textbooks printed at Bashundhara press
East West Media Group Limited (EWMGL), a sister concern of Bashundhara Group, has printed a large number of Philippine text books as the fame of this business conglomerate has spread across the world.
The EWMGL high officials on Thursday handed its consignment of 98,400 text books over to Philippine representatives at a handover ceremony at EWMGL press in the capital.
“We have handed over 98,400 text books to Philippine today which have been printed in high quality paper of Bashundhara Paper Mills Ltd at EWMGL press, Mohammad Mustafizur Rahman, deputy managing director of Bashundhara Group said at a press conference.
The books include Grade-1, Grade-2 and Grade-3 Philippine education board.
Mohammad Abu Tayeb, media advisor of Bashundhara Group, said, “EWMGL press has the capacity of publishing five lakh books a day as modern technology is being used here.”
Among others, Lt Col (Retd) Mohammad Abdul Awal, EWMGL press unit chief, and BG high officials were present at the programme.
