Bangladesh Pratidin, the country’s largest-circulated daily, steps into the eighth year of its publication on Wednesday.
On the occasion, the Bangla daily, an outlet of East West Media Group Limited (EWMGL), arranged a cake-cutting ceremony at its office in Bashundhara Residential Area in the city on Tuesday.
Managing Director of Bashundhara Group and EWMGL Sayem Sobhan Anvir cut a giant cake at the function.
Bangladesh Pratidin Editor Naem Nizam, Kaler Kantho Editor Imdadul Haque Milan, Banglanews24.com Editor-in-Chief Alamgir Hossain and daily sun Acting Editor Shiabur Rahman, among others, were present.
Speaking at the programme, Sayem Sobhan appreciated the daily for its contribution to the society. He also expressed the hope that the newspaper will keep improving in future.
Bangladesh Pratidin will arrange a gala function today, marking its seventh anniversary.
