The second day of Bashundhara Bangladesh Open 2015 golf tournament has started at Kurmitola Golf Club on Thursday morning.
At 6:40am, Pam Sacksansin of Thailand, Sajib Ali of Bangladesh and Ajitesh Sandhu of India have played a part in bringing them to the first tee of second round from hole no-1.
At the same time, Danthai Dama (Thailand), Din Muhammad (Bangladesh) and Sujan Sing (India) hit tee shots at the tenth hole.
Country’s top golfer Siddikur Rahman will take his tee shot from the first hole at 12:15pm.
A total of 156 golfers, including 31 from home, have taken part at the tournament.
Earlier on first day, the play was delayed due to sudden rain at 8:00am, but the weather seems sunny today and everybody hopes an uninterrupted finishing of the day.
Bashundhara Group, the country’s leading business conglomerate, is the title sponsor of the international professional golf event involving prizes totalling US$300,000, with local hero Siddikur Rahman headlining the tournament on home soil.
